1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Dispensary claim data. When you claim a dispensary listing, we collect your email address, name, role, and optionally your phone number. This is used to verify your identity and grant you access to your dashboard.
• Store profile data. If you manage a claimed dispensary, you may provide a business description, website URL, operating hours, social media handles, and a logo image. This information is displayed on your public dispensary listing.
• Product alert emails. If you subscribe to price or product alerts, we store your email address to deliver those notifications.
• Pro waitlist. If you join the Glass Pro waitlist, we store your email to notify you when the feature launches.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data. We collect standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We use this to monitor site health and understand aggregate usage patterns.
• Local storage. We store user preferences, session state, and savings tracking data in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly submit it.
• Geolocation. With your permission, we use your browser's geolocation API to show nearby dispensaries and relevant pricing. We do not store your precise location on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the GLASS price comparison service
• To verify dispensary claims and manage operator dashboards
• To display store profile information on public dispensary listings
• To send transactional emails such as magic link sign-ins, claim verifications, and claim confirmations
• To send product and price alert notifications you have opted into
• To compute and display Glass Scores, competitive positioning, and market analytics for dispensary operators
• To improve the accuracy and coverage of our pricing data
• To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access

3. Data Sources

GLASS aggregates publicly available cannabis menu and pricing data from third-party platforms including Dutchie, Leafly, Weedmaps, and Jane. This data is collected from publicly accessible menus and is used to power price comparisons and market analytics. We do not access any private or authenticated retailer data from these platforms.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share data with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the service:

• Cloud infrastructure. We use Cloudflare (R2 storage, CDN) and Railway for hosting. Your data is processed on their infrastructure under their respective data processing agreements.
• Email delivery. We use a transactional email provider to send verification links, claim confirmations, and alert notifications.
• Geocoding. We use geocoding services to convert addresses to coordinates for dispensary mapping. Only dispensary addresses (not user addresses) are sent to these services.

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Roviq, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

• Claim and dashboard data is retained for as long as your dispensary claim is active. If you request removal, we will delete your claim data within 30 days.
• Alert subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
• Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for operational and security purposes.
• Uploaded images (dispensary logos) are stored on Cloudflare R2 and retained until you replace them or request deletion.
• Local storage data persists in your browser until you clear it. We have no server-side copy of this data.

6. Your Rights

You may exercise the following rights by emailing us at team@glassintel.xyz:

• Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction. Request correction of inaccurate data. Dispensary operators can edit their profile directly from the dashboard.
• Deletion. Request deletion of your personal data. We will delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
• Data portability. Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. As stated above, we do not sell personal information.

7. Cookies & Tracking

GLASS does not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels. We use browser local storage for functional purposes (saving your preferences, session state, and savings calculations). We do not participate in ad networks or behavioral advertising.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption in transit, secure token-based authentication for dispensary dashboards, and access controls on our infrastructure. Uploaded images are stored on Cloudflare R2 with signed access. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Age Restriction

GLASS is intended for users aged 21 and older, in compliance with Massachusetts cannabis regulations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. If we learn we have collected data from a person under 21, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of GLASS after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
